Narendra Gupta
There can never be enough words to describe the contribution of Narendra Gupta on Indian television. He has worked in several high budget projects and has tones of experience behind him. His most popular project has been CID which is undoubtedly one of the longest running series on Indian television. He plays the role of Dr. Salunkhe, a forensic technician, in this crime series. He has worked in the show from 1998 to 2003 and then reappeared in the 2006 and the 2007 seasons. His next most popularee Tv’s Saat Phere- Saloni ka safar, that later became the 9th longest show on Indian television. He played the role of Aapji in this popular series. As the name suggests, the show is based on the protagonist’s life. His other contributions on television have been Kehta Hai Dil and Piya ka Ghar. In each of these shows, Narendra Gupta has managed to stand out in spite of a collective cast assembly. He also made his mark in Bollywood movies with a few projects under his name. These include the 1996 starrer Tu Chor Main Sipahi, once again a crime project. The 1997 movie called Udaan which starred Rekha, among others is worth a mention for Narendra Gupta’s role in it.
