Dr. Deepika Bhandari
Dr. Deepika Bhandari is currently working as Assistant Director (on Deputation), Directorate of Forensic Services, Shimla Hills, Junga, Himachal Pradesh since July, 2019. She completed her Ph.D. in Forensic Science from the Department of Forensic Science, Punjabi University, Patiala and M.Sc. in Forensic Science from same university. She did her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Botany, and Biotechnology from Panjab University, Chandigarh. She qualified UGC-NET-JRF in Forensic Science in 2006 and 2007, respectively. She has worked as Assistant Professor & Head of Department of Forensic Science, Govt. Institute of Forensic Science, Mumbai from 2012 to 2019. She has also worked as Content Writer and Speaker for a Project of “ePGPathshala” by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under National Mission of Education through ICT (NMEICT), MHRD, Government of India for the subject of Forensic Science for PG Program by Centre for e-Learning, SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi, North Campus, Delhi. She was the Content Writer and Speaker under the National Mission of Education through ICT (NMEICT), MHRD, Government of India Phase–II of Forensic Science and Criminology for UG Programme by CEC, Educational Multimedia Research Centre, Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University, Sagar. She also worked at Doping Control Unit during 2010 Commonwealth Games at New Delhi for WADA (ADAMS). In addition to this, she has published numerous papers in National and International Journals.
