Dr. Jeidson Marques
Dr Jeidson Marques graduated
in Dentistry from the State University of Feira de Santana (2002), Mastered in
Dentistry (Deontology and Legal Dentistry) from the University of São Paulo
(2004) and PhD in Preventive and Social Dentistry from the São Paulo State
University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007). He did his Post Doctorate at the
University of Coimbra-PT. He is currently an adjunct professor at the State
University of Feira de Santana, PhD professor at the Faculty of Higher
Education of Feira de Santana (UNEF) and Coordinator of the Dentistry Course -
UNEF. He Coordinates the Postgraduate Course in Noble Forensic Expertise and
the Specialization Course in Forensic Dentistry (Uningá-Salvador). He is the
Director of CROBA and Coordinator of PROJECT CIDEM. He is the author of the
books: Biosafety in Dentistry (2003), Ergonomics and Occupational Diseases in
Dentistry (20013)Bite Marks (2007), Mass Disasters (2015), Forensic Dentistry
(2017), among others. He is the Former President of ABOL (Brazilian Association
of Legal Dentistry) and a Member of the Sub-working Group DVI INTERPOL, AOFL
(Latin American Association of Forensic Dentistry and FO4HR (Forensic Dentistry
for Human Rights). He has experience in the field of Dentistry, with an emphasis
on Social and Preventive Dentistry, working mainly on the following topics:
legal dentistry, forensic anthropology, identification human, bite marks and
forensic dentistry.
